Dato’ Davis Yee

Our Dato’ Davis Yee was conferred his Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of London in 1998 and completed his Certificate in Legal Practice in 1999 with Honours and was called to the Bar on 22nd September 2000.

He studied in the chambers with Messrs Farn & Co, Advocates and Solicitors, before he was called to the Bar and thereafter he practiced law as a legal assistant for Messrs Wong & Associates, Advocates and Solicitors from September 2000 to January 2001 and thereafter for Messrs Bell & Lee, Advocates & Solicitors, from March 2001 to September 2002 and thereafter he joined Messrs Joseph Ting & Co, Advocates and Solicitors, as legal assistant until February 2004.

Thereafter he joined the firm of Messrs. Andersen & Partners on 1st April 2004 until 31st July 2007 as a partner.

During his tenure as a practicing advocate and solicitor, he had the opportunity to provide a wide range of services to his clients including corporate work, conveyancing and litigation matters and where he was also engaged in all types of civil and criminal litigation. He will continue to handle the conveyancing, litigation and corporate portfolio of our firm.

Throughout his practice, he has participated in many developers’ project launch and he is well-versed with the process of conveyance of landed properties in Malaysia. He is also fully aware of the importance of providing expeditious service to his clients so as to avoid unnecessary delay and thus avoiding frustration for all the parties involved.

Further throughout his tenure as a practicing advocate and solicitor, he has been handling mainly banking, conveyancing and commercial matters. He is familiar with the preparation of all types of conveyancing agreements, documents and instruments and banking security documents for all classes of clients whether they are individuals, corporate or body unincorporated and for all types of properties be it residential commercial, industrial or retail.

Apart from all area of law relating to property conveyance, Dato’ Davis Yee is also conversant with legal intricacies of drafting various commercial contracts for a variety of commercial transactions.

As his job also required him to have extensive liaison with various Ministries and Government Departments, he is also comfortable in dealing with various authorities.

Dato’ Davis Yee was conferred the award of ‘datoship’ by His Royal Highness of the Sultan of Pahang on 6th November 2015

Datin Low Siew Ching

Datin Low Siew Ching was graduated from University of Wales, Cardiff, United Kingdom in year 1998. She chambered in Messrs Adnan Sundra & Low and was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 22nd March 2002. She then joined Messrs Tay Kuan Teck & Sons as Legal Assistant and thereafter, she practiced in Messrs Joseph Ting & Co. as Legal Assistant. Subsequently, she practiced in Messrs Wong-Cheng Kiat-Loh.

After practicing three (3) years in Messrs. Wong-Cheng Kiat-Loh as a Legal Assistant, she was then being offered as a partner in that firm.

During her tenure as a practicing advocate and solicitor, she has acquired great wealth of experiences in various conveyancing fields which includes all types of sub-sale and banking work and she is well versed with the process of conveyance of all types of properties in Malaysia. She is familiar with the preparation of all types of conveyancing agreements, documents and instruments and many different banking security documents. She will continue to handle the conveyancing portfolio of our firm.

She has also participated in many developers’ project launch and has imparted her legal knowledge and advice to various types of clients. She has always provided expeditious services to her clients as she understands the importance of time frame set in each different circumstance.

Associates

Lim Lai Ming (Joan)

Lim Lai Ming graduated with honours from the University of London (External). She obtained her Certificate of Legal Practice and thereafter called to the Malaysian Bar on 30th August 1996. She joined the Firm in 2018 and her years of practice beginning with Messrs Darsham Chong & Co and subsequent years at Messrs Mak, Ng & Lim has given her much competence and skill in the conveyancing and banking department.

Tung Kai Mun (Kinson)

Tung Kai Mun was conferred a Bachelors of Laws Degree with second class honors, from Northern University of Malaysia (UUM) in Malaysia in year 2012. Thereafter, he began his pupillage in Messrs KH Chong, Sim & Co and was called to the bar on 03rd September 2013 and thereafter joined Messrs Gunaretnam & Co to practice as a Legal Assistant in the firm mainly handling traffic accidents, civil and criminal litigation matters. 

On 1st July 2014, he joined Messrs KF Wong & Lee for greater exposures and experiences in civil litigation portfolio and there he has learned the entire litigation process from the trial courts to the appellate courts including but not limited to all kinds of drafting of letters, cause papers, submission and enhanced his skill for doing research and analyzing data respectively.

After that, he who keen to learn about conveyancing law had made the effort by joining Messrs Ho & Company to adapt himself into the conveyancing by doing and handling multiple types of conveyancing transactions such as Discharge of Charge, Sale & Purchase Agreement, Sub-sale, Perfection of Transfer, Perfection of Charge, Receipt and Reassignment, Deed of Gift, Refinancing, Will, Tenancy Agreement, Direct Transfer and others which equipped him with the meticulous manner in his legal practice thereon.

He is currently handling the civil litigation, divorce, probate, letter of administration and intellectual property portfolios of the firm.

Tey Woei Hann (Josh)

Tey Woei Hann was graduated from University of Liverpool, United Kingdom in year 2012.

He studied in chambers with Messrs Isharidah, Ho, Chong & Menon, Advocates and Solicitors, before he was called to the Bar on 29th April 2016. During his nine months pupilage, he gained exposure in different area of litigation matters especially accident cases and breach of contract.

He then spent a year gap to finish his Master of Law in University of Malaya and started his first practice as a legal assistant in Messrs Azim, Tunku, Farik & Wong on 04 September 2017. During his tenure in Messrs Azim, tunku, Farik & Wong, he was exposed to medical negligence cases. He is also familiarized with drafting and preparing cause papers and civil litigation.

He is currently handling the civil litigation, divorce, probate, letter of administration and intellectual property portfolios of the firm.
